Exploring Creation with Mathematics: Level 6 Student Text
In Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Mathematics: Level 6 Student Text, students will learn all about fractions and ratios, rates and probability, and negative numbers. They’ll also receive an introduction to algebra to prepare them for higher-level math courses. Units are presented along with fun, hands-on, interactive activities to help students make connections between the information they are learning and the real world so they can see the important role math plays in everyday life. But perhaps the most important aspect of this course is teaching students how our Creator is present in their lives through mathematics.
Right from the start, Exploring Creation with Mathematics: Level 6, lets students know they are going to study math as a tool to help them know God better and understand their unique place in the universe. Every unit begins with a devotional called Seeing Our Creator that connects the upcoming mathematical concepts to our Creator. Just some of the mathematical concepts covered in this book include fractions and ratios, rates and probability, and negative numbers. Students will also receive an introduction to algebra to prepare them for higher-level math courses.
In this course your student will find:
- A suggested daily schedule with thoughtful, systematic pacing through concepts
- Just the right amount of skills practice to learn a new topic without feeling burdened
- Instructions and activity sheets for easy-to-set-up games, activities, and projects that make learning fun and ensure students understand the concepts taught
- Colorful, age-appropriate lesson layouts and page design that make learning more inviting
