Stellaluna
While out searching for food, fruit bat Stellaluna and her mother get attacked by a vicious owl. Knocked from her mother’s safe embrace by the attacking owl, she lands headfirst in a bird’s nest.
This adorable baby fruit bat’s world is literally turned upside down. As the occupants of the bird’s nest adopt her, she has to adapt to their peculiar bird habits.
Just as Stellaluna is fitting in, another fateful flight comes, and she is separated from her adoptive siblings. As Stellaluna is reunited with her bat family, she learns that even though we’re different, we’re very much the same.
