Who Am I? And What Am I Doing Here? helps students understand what it means to be specifically made in the image of God. What gives a person value? What provides purpose for a life? This book will help students answer these questions with a Biblical worldview for a lens!
Each lesson in the book features an introduction to the main topic, learning objectives, and a narrative story. Lessons also include thought-provoking questions, important vocabulary words, and two Bible memory verses. Additionally, lessons contain interesting interdisciplinary topics, Godly character traits for students to demonstrate, a prayer, and a worldview portion.
The worldview sections provide a youth’s perspective on being a Muslim, a Mormon, a New Age spiritualist, a Hindu, a Buddhist, a Communist, etc. This allows students to see the difference between these belief systems and Christianity. Probing questions help students think through how various religions compare to what God tells us in His Word.

One of the huge benefits of moving the child’s history and science readings to being done independently, as Charlotte Mason definitely advocated, is that it opens up our teaching time to be spent in training our children’s characters, hearts, and minds.
This being the case, we use a discussion-based focus, rather than a notebooking focus for this study, as the topics automatically lead to personal and timely discussions with your teens!
