English

High school credit in English is earned through a combination of literature, composition, and grammar. In U.S. History II, the daily literature portion uses a compelling combination of 8 novels, 8 short stories, 4 primary sources, 1 full-length autobiography, and 1 play to earn credit in American Literature. The composition portion uses In Their Sandals twice weekly. The grammar portion uses the first half of Preparing for Usefulness: English 8 twice weekly.

Together these resources add one full English credit to your student’s program. Either order a complete English package (which includes literature, composition, and grammar), or customize by ordering a smaller package or individual items.

Complete English Girl Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to girls, and provides the needed resources for composition and grammar.

Option 2

Complete English Boy Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to boys, and provides the needed resources for composition and grammar.

Option 3

Literature and Composition Girl Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to girls, and provides the needed resources for composition. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar.

Option 4

Literature and Composition Boy Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to boys, and provides the needed resources for composition. However, this package does not include the needed resources for grammar.

Option 5

Literature Girl Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to girls. However, this package does not include the needed resources for composition or grammar.

Option 6

Literature Boy Package

This package includes a selection of literature chosen to appeal to boys. However, this package does not include the needed resources for composition or grammar.
