In U.S. History II, the daily literature portion uses a hand-picked set of compelling full-length novels and plays to earn credit in British Literature.

Classic Charlotte Mason-style novel introductions, annotations, oral and written narrations, Common Place Book entries, biblical worldview questions, and novel discussions all provide higher level assessments without taking away the joy of reading. Daily Literature Journal assignments help students dig deeper and reflect upon what they read. The last half of Preparing for Usefulness: English 8 is used for grammar and writing lessons twice weekly. Together these resources add one full English credit to your student’s program.

This package includes the literature resources for U.S. History II, as well as the accompanying cinematic production of Pride and Prejudice. However, this package does not include the grammar and writing resources for U.S. History II.
