1ST Choice - For the Bible Quiet Time part of the plans, choose the Boy Option for boys and the Girl Option for girls. Both options will be scheduled in our Teacher Guide. What is God’s Design for My Body? is scheduled for both girls and boys. You must choose whether to add this book.

2ND Choice - For music, choose whether to purchase the corresponding CD for help in memorizing Philippians 1, as scheduled in the Hearts for Him Through Time: Resurrection to Reformation.

Students are scheduled to memorize Philippians 1, a little at a time each week, from the Scripture version of your choice. To help students memorize Philippians 1, add the corresponding audio for students to sing along with the Scripture. 7 songs in a variety of musical styles are included to provide a word-for-word memorizing tool for the NIV version of Philippians chapter 1. Each song fits well with the mood of the various parts of Philippians 1 and makes memorizing Scripture a joyful experience. The included music does include some drums and a variety of instruments. We found ourselves singing along with the music easily and enjoying the words of this beautiful chapter of the Bible. This memorizing tool corresponds well with the Bible study of Philippians that is scheduled within Resurrection to Reformation. Students who have completed the Creation to Christ guide will have the added benefit of already memorizing all of Philippians chapter 2 as well. Click on this link to listen to a clip.

3RD Choice - To teach writing, we have scheduled Medieval History-Based Writing Lessons. Writing lessons are scheduled 3 times a week with optional extensions for older students. (more info.)

4TH Choice - For literature study for 5th graders, we typically recommend that you choose Drawn into the Heart of Reading Teacher's Guide and Level 4/5 Student Book (shown below), or you may use your own program. For 6th grade students who have not had much literature instruction or are not very independent, also choose Level 4/5. For 6th - 8th grade students who have had previous literature study and are quite independent, choose Level 6/7/8 Student Book instead. Please note, if you previously purchased the Drawn into the Heart of Reading Teacher's Guide for use with Level 2/3 or 4/5, you will not need to purchase it again.
