"I can't tell you how touched I've been with your book. It's
absolutely incredible....all of it is brought to the glory,
honor, and praise of our Savior!!! The blessings you have
extended to others through your devotions is just unbelievable.
I'm proud of you as a "sister" in Christ!!!!!"

I love the themes. I love the varied
topics of a woman’s life that you cover – Christian
woman…motherhood…wife…teacher… I love the use of worship music
to go along with the devotional. I also love the front cover.
This is very useful and encouraging for women who only have time
for a short devotional.
Cindy West - Paris, KY
The devotional features short, powerful entries with the wife,
mother, and education of the children in mind. With themes and
topics of interest, personal stories, and heartfelt prayers,
this devotional would be a blessing to read by any mama as she
starts her busy day.

Julie’s gift for turning life’s everyday
happening into nuggets of wisdom is apparent as we read her
unique devotional. Take a break from life’s worries and tasks
and join Julie daily in opening God’s presents of peace and
encouragement for your soul. Julie’s personal, intimate manner
will make you feel that she is a “kindred spirit”.

I really appreciate the format of your book of the different
roles of a home schooling mom being addressed on each of the
days with an overview/review on the fifth day. It’s a very
enjoyable way to spend time growing with its guidance. Thank you
for taking the time to write something that is the desire of
moms’ hearts – to be closer to our Lord in order to be better in
all of our roles.
Laurie Peacock - Emporia, KS
The ladies I shared your book with loved
it! I will be taking orders for them! Thank you for a sincere,
spiritual guide from one who understands!
Julie Smith - Thomaston, GA
I love your devotional! I think it is very thought out and
adaptable wheter you are a more traditional Christian or
contemporary. Elizabeth Kennedy

I really love this devotional. As a
homeschooling mother of four, I am using it in my mother of
four, I am using it in my morning devotions and find it so easy
to follow; it really gets me praying, into the Word and
understanding my vital roles in the home (as a Christian woman,
wife, mother, and teacher). The author’s struggles and triumphs
as a stay home mom make it real and personal – and makes you
realize you aren’t alone out there – Jesus is with you every
step of the way.

Homeschooling - Laguna Hills, CA
I really enjoy your devotional and lent it
out to my co-leader and haven’t been able to pry it out of her
greedy little hands since! I know I really enjoyed the set-up
of it. I really like the music connection, and I definitely
want those to go along with it, to play throughout the day to
reflect on the message shared!

I just finished reading your devotional book, and I must tell you
I just loved it! This is my first devotional book I have done
that is not just a small daily Bible study. I really loved the
family stories you shared. It made me feel as if we were
sitting right there together talking and sharing. Some of the
quotes you used I had not read before, some I had, and I loved
reading again. The Bible stores seen in the light of your
family stories was an eye opener also. It is so amazing how God
can take a story you have read a hundred times and give you new
insight by letting in on someone else’s story. Thank you for
sharing some of the tales of your life with me. And thank you
very much for the family photos at the back of the book. Your
family must be such a joy to you!

I LOVE your devotional! It is exactly what
I have been searching for! I will share some fliers and your
devotional with my co-op group. I pray that other moms will be
as blessed by your heartfelt devotions as I have!

I loved how your book was sectioned. I appreciated the balance of
respecting those who were more “conservative” in their music
while incorporating those who are comfortable with
“contemporary” music. This book is beneficial to those who are
trying to develop good devotional habits. It keeps things short
and uncumbersome while trying to retain daily routines toward
growth and Christ-centered living.
Charity Woon - Chandler, NC
I really have enjoyed your devotional
book! I love the little stories that you add to bring your
point home.
Dawn Wright - Allendale, MI
I really enjoy your devotional. It’s
short, but very interesting. You’ve made it personal with the
mention of your life and family. It’s very well written. It
seems to be the perfect devotional for a busy, Christian woman.
It will be a blessing to anyone who reads it!
Carrie Floyd - Godfrey, IL
We LOVE the book! The quote by Brault in
the front is perfect. I think you work is wonderful! I
especially like the “Theme” format, as I normally find myself
thinking in those terms (yes, we do unit studies)!
Craig and Mary Binks - Ste. Genevieve, MO
The author is very refreshing in her
transparent way of evaluating the happenings in her life and the
lessons the Lord has taught her even through the small things we
might not think to reflect upon. There is a recurring theme of
respect for her husband and placing high value on our families
and the role the Lord has give us a Christian woman, wife,
mother, and teacher. Some of the simple things she speaks of
are rather convicting to me, especially appreciating the work
your husband does when even you see all that still needs to be
done! She as a sweetness and a non-condemning sort of way of
encouraging in some of these areas that can be so delicate and
at times controversial amongst us “modern” women. She has a
gentle way of bringing out the truth and principles all of us
need to be encouraged in, regarding our place in the
home/family.

. . . how blessed I am to have "met" you. What a beautiful
portrait you are of our Lord! Your devotional is exactly what we
as homeschoolers need. I have LOVED reading it and sharing
this with others. I have never had a devotional that I want to
read all at once. I can't wait for my "God" time the next day. I
love reading your passion for you family and the love of
"togetherness". I feel I am reading about my own life. One of my
favorites is the story of your Grandparents - "Grandpa" could
have gone and lived it up in the assisted home but his favorite
thing was just to be with "Grandma". How beautiful! Your family
reflects Jesus in so many ways.
Thanks for sharing a window of your life with so many. God has
given you much to share to let others know they are not alone.
. .
Blessings my Friend!

I viewed the pages of your book and really appreciate the format
of the different roles of a home schooling mom being addressed
on each of the different days with an overview/review on the
fifth day. It...will be very enjoyable to spend the time
growing with its guidance. I would like to share brochures with
a couple of groups that I am part of. One is a local home
school support group that I help lead, and the other is a
support group for families which are a part of a virtual school
in which my family is enrolled. The local support group has had
moms meet together in the past to study different books. I can
see how this book would fit in as we do the first four days on
our own and then come together to do the review. Thank you for
taking the time to write something that is the desire of moms'
hearts - to be closer to our Lord in order to be better in all
of our roles.
