R&S Preparing to Build vs R&S Stepping Stones of English

Hi Ladies,
Not sure if anyone can help me with this. Someone gave me the "Stepping Stones of English" book from R&S for free. It says Grade 2 and from everything that I've been able to find on the internet it was replaced with "Preparing to Build". What it covers seems to fit the scope and sequence of Preparing to Build. I'm wondering if I can just save the money and use it instead of "Preparing to Build" with Bigger.

Any thoughts?
