I am 33. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 12.5 years. We have 3 children: ds 10, dd 8, & ds 4.5. We have lived in 4 different locations (5 for hubby) since we married:

-Auburn, AL
-Palm Bay FL
-Ashburn, VA
-moved back to Florida for 2 years
-Annapolis, MD (hubby for 6 month field assignment-we stayed in FL)
-Pittsford, NY

I lived in the same house until I married hubby, so moving around is new to me. But, we're having fun with it. We've been homeshooling full-time for almost 2 years. We will be moving again in the Fall; either to a new state or just a new home in our current location. It will depend on hubby's job opportunity...could even be back to Florida again!

We live on a fair sized ranch (500 acres, but many around here are larger) in the middle of nowhere. We raise black angus beef. We made this move about 2 yrs ago as an experiment and we love it! I'm not lovin' my 1916 house...but that's another story.... at least we have a bathroom....

Yep, 38 also!

2 cutie girls, 4 years old and 10 months old-New, but very committed homeschooler

Been married for 8 years (got married at a police academy! Yes, another job of mine!) I actually chased criminals (I call them boneheads) on top of a taco house one time. And yes, we would take breaks for coffee and donuts (favorite part of the job! )

Husband is a business owner-Law enforcement and public safety equipment. It is internet based but, he also has a retail showroom and inventory warehouse. He works a lot! Oh yeah, he is also a part time police officer.

(And for Melanie, my favorite food is beef!)

I'm 39 (GULP!).

My husband and I will be celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary on May 1st!

We have 4 kids. Sam is 12, Sophie is 10, Josie is 6 and Gracie is 3. (Both Josie and Gracie's birthdays are in April, so soon they will be 7 and 4.)

My husband is a public school teacher specializing in behaviorally/emotionally challenged kids. He is currently working at a high school several blocks from our home.

Before I had kids I was a graphic designer.

We decided that we would homeschool when our ds was 3 years old. And we've been homeschooling ever since.

MamaMary, on the boards here, is one of my closest friends. We have been friends for over 10 years now.

I've been married for 8 1/2 yrs to Nate.
I have 2 kids Kaitlyn who will be 5 in May and Andrew who just turned 2.
We live in central PA now. But have had 6 addresses (most in PA one in CO) since getting married.

Fun thread!

I'm Carrie. I'll be 40 this July!

I've been married 20 years to my high school sweetheart, who also turns 40 this year (before me!)

I taught public school 11 years before beginning to homeschool my oldest son when he hit preschool age.

My 4 boys are 12, 9, 5, and just turned 2.

My hubby is a lighting specialist by day and a Heart of Dakota business manager by night. :D

Blessings,
Carrie

I'm 37, my birthday is Columbus Day :) My mom almost named me Cristina, but another mom in the hospital gave birth on the same day, and she didn't want to look like a copycat  I am of Puerto Rican descent, and I speak fairly fluent Spanish (had to study it in high school, it's NOT my first language, but I heard it a lot growing up). I speak a little French (studied in college) and love to sing in foreign languages-my favorite is German. I want to learn Gaelic

Been married 16 1/2 years, hubby's birthday is Christmas Eve  His name is Falcony. He is of Filipino descent. He is not fluent in Tagalog, but can understand some. He also studied French in high school and can speak it a little better than I can (though I think my pronunciation beats his  ) He works in a local high school as a security monitor.

Four wonderful kids-Zakarias 15, Ariel 12, Keri 10, and Tamara 8. We homeschooled from the beginning, but our son is now in his 2nd year at a specialized public high school, where he is majoring in 3D computer animation, and my 12 year old hopes to be accepted to the local performing arts high shool for next fall, to continue her dance studies (her main thing is ballet). It's a nice, small school, and her audition was Feb. 23, but notifications don't arrive until April 7.

Will continue homeschooling my 2 youngers as long as Carrie keeps writing :D Keri is taking ballet this year, but her first love is gymnastics-she is my athlete. One day, as a toddler, she jumped OVER the back of a high-backed chair from the seat of it  amazingly, she landed like a frog, and smiled up at me-from the ceramic tile floor

Tamara is my little petite pixie-she loves dance like her big sister and would love to take tap-we'll see what we can do for her.

LOL! Had to edit my age! I'm only 37, NOT 39

O.K....I'm one of the more 'MATURE' moms here. I am 48  and flying toward 50 faster than I care to think about, LOL. DH and I will be married 25 years this May.

We have 5 dc, ages 21, 17, 10, 9, & 5. We began homeschooling when our oldest was 8 because the Christian School he was attending decided to close. We opted to homeschool instead of sending him to ps and I'm so very glad we did.

We will be using Bigger HFHG next fall.

My word of advice would be enjoy every minute you have with your children because time passes very quickly and they grow up so very fast!
