2010 convention Schedule?

Hi Carrie,
I was just wondering if you have your convention schedule yet. Travel for us will be limited this year, but I really missed seeing you and looking through your display last year, so I'd like to hit a homeschool convention that you plan to attend.

We'll be in Hawaii again this winter for 7 weeks, and their convention is in March (want to come along????)

And our second son is attending graduate school at the University of Cincinnati, so we are considering that (Midwest?) one so we can visit with him at the same time. I believe that one is in April.

Normally, I get to see you in NC at NCHE, but I'm not sure we'll be able to travel down there in May this year. so please let us know where you'll be attending...

I would love to get a chance to see you this year too! The Hawaii convention would be a dream, but it's too far for me to go in the midst of writing (not to mention the air-fare) I hope you'll have a wonderful time there.

Thanks for reminding me about updating the convention schedule for the year! We need to get it to our web designer, now that all of our registrations are finally confirmed.

Hi Carrie,
Thanks for the update! I'll show these to hubby and see which will work best for us. Sure wish you would consider coming to Hawaii with us....

We may see you in Cincinnati this year if it works out with our schedule. We don't get back from Hawaii until March 31 and that return trip really does me in. It takes a bit of recouperating, and it's a 15 hour drive for us from RI to Cincinnati, so we'll see.

I've already been hatching a plan, LeAnna. I have several options of family to stay with there...and I figured (if Mike & the kids come along) we could get together with you & Brandon. We'll definitely have to make a plan. I'm remembering that they gym is pretty hot & humid there...will a 7 mo pregnant gal (ME) swell up like a balloon?? I haven't done summer being pregnant before.

Yay! I may have to try to go to the GA convention this year. I'll have to talk to hubby and see if he would like a weekend away even if it would be all about homeschooling. Any girls nearby that would want to have a girls' weekend? We talked about that last year and then all of us had different things come up and it didn't work out, but if anyone TN/GA/other close girls are interested in doing that this year let me know.

LOL!! Kathleen, haven't you heard, that great minds think alike!!:) You're right, it does get very hot and humid here, but we can be miserable together! I haven't been in Iowa for a summer, for a long time now, so it who knows what's going to happen! It would definitely be fun to get together and chat homeschool!!:) We will have to keep working out a plan.

Carrie you are talking GHEA for the Georgia one not the Expo one that you did last year right. The date matches the GHEA convention. Just checking becasue I am making plans with a local hsing buddy. And I will be there this year for sure!

Looks like I will be attending the Atlanta GHEA convention this year. I never have before - always go to the July one instead. It will be intersting to see the comparison. I understand the one in May is smaller than the July one but more heavily Bible-centered. Can't wait to see you again! Let me know if you would like some booth help - even if just to give you a break to eat some more ChickFilA!

I had no idea this one had a more Biblical focus. That is exciting!
