I was there, too! I met Carrie and discussed a plan for my ds since we have never really done much history. I wanted to start Preparing in the fall due to his age, but he has not had a lot of AM. History.

Thanks for your recommendation to just let him read through the spines from Bigger. He actually came to me the other day and thanked me for having him read them. He is really enjoying them and I am happy he will have that overview of Am. Hist. before moving on to Preparing in the fall.

I'm so glad! My boys have enjoyed the spines you mentioned as well! :D I personally found them fascinating and read many parts aloud to my husband with a... "Did you know..." mentality!?! :D
