If you get a HOT PINK background when you are on the board

If you see a hot pink background on your board with a message that says something like "the board is currently being upgraded . . ", please let us know. Evidently, after users make certain modifications to their settings (most frequently changing their background color) they are directed to an alternate HOD board where they can see current posts but are unable to post themselves.

The solution is to delete and re-register the username. All of the posts of the deleted username are saved, but not attached (for searching purposes) to the username when we re-register.

So I'm not the only one who played around with my settings and messed up my ID?

It happened to me to! :(

I just really thought that the board was being upgraded and didn't request help for almost 2 weeks!! :oops: :oops:

Nope! I was the latest tragedy! :oops: LOL!

And let me say, it's not pretty pink or rose, it is HOT PINK, :shock: so you won't want it. It's very hard to decipher what's been read as well.

I'm so sorry, ladies. It seems to be an ongoing issue. In one session of trying to fix-it, all posts on the board were gone for about 10 minutes, and my poor hubby thought he'd somehow deleted the entire board history!

There's no easy fix for the problem, so we thought we'd advise you not to change your colors for now! :D It seems to be one of the glitches that came along with the upgrade to a new version of our board. :wink:
