Asking a difficult to answer question...

Post by TeacherMom » Sat Feb 21, 2009 2:50 pm

I know the new ancients program was just posted, but I also know that some here are familiar with MFW, so I thought I would ask anyway. :)

Anyone like to give a comparison of MFW Creation to the Greeks and HOD's new program?

Like I said, this may not be possible, but I thought some of you may be familiar enough with Carrie's book choices that you may be able to share first impressions.

Just curious!

Thanks!

TeacherMom I wrote this on HSR and I will post it in case it helps. http://www.homeschoolreviews.com/forums ... x?id=56603 There is some talk about CTG resources in this thread by myself and others. I am not sure if it will help or not but I wanted to put it out there. I do have many of the book choices on my shelf. They are all awesome things that I planned on using when we got to that era and thankfully Carrie write them in for me. Not really but I feel that way since we hit so many of the things I have waiting or saw and wanted to use. We are so excited to use it and can't wait for it to be ready. I love her picks. I do also have some of MFW as well even though I did not use CTG ultimately I thought that was the way we would go at one time but decided it was not for us.

I think it will be easier to see the difference in the two programs with the samples come up in March. But I do think the programs are very different on a lot of levels. Maybe some of those differences will help you decide. Praying you find the best fit for your family. :D

Really? I'm completely sleep deprived in the worst way for several days. It must be due to that. I almost did not write it because nothing is clear to me right now. Maybe that is the cure for the scatter brain. Well I ma glad it made sense I was worried it would come out wrong. Thanks!
