Totally off topic of homeschooling but....

Post by Natreez » Mon Oct 13, 2008 8:02 pm

We just found out I'm pregnant!!! :D  :D
About a year ago, we were told by a gynecologist that I have stage 4 endometriosis, that I would never be able to conceive again and that I should just get a hysterectomy. Quite in shock, I came home completely deflated as my husband and I had recently began discussing our desire for another baby. I refused the hysterectomy and went in search of another gynecologist. This past year has been medically really rough... as shortly after being told all of this I was diagnosed with a breast lump and had to have a lumpectomy. My husband and I will be celebrating our 10year anniversary this weekend and what better gift is there than finding out we're expecting!!! God is soooooo GOOD!!! Sorry if this is to personal, but I just had to share with everyone.

Congratulations!

I am so glad that God is not limited by what the doctors say. I have a couple of friends that, according to the doctors, shouldn't have been able to conceive children/more children and they did anyway.

That truly is a blessing. Rejoicing with you.

In His love,

Oh Natreez, what a blessing! Guess what song is playing RIGHT NOW on my CD player? "God is Good" - He is, isn't He? Just think, He knew He'd be gifting you with this blessing already way back when.

...I am grateful for you holding my life in Your hands
You are holding my life in Your hands.

Yes, God is good! I am praising Him with you this morning and praying a healthy pregnancy for you!
