"Deep Division"

Post by Jaimejac » Wed Jan 17, 2024 7:00 am

My 7 1/2 yo DS is doing long division in Singapore 3A. He thinks it should be called Deep Division "because it's not that long and it actually goes down", in his words. :D He was pretty intimidated at first, but is proud of himself that he is starting to memorize more of the steps. This time of year two years ago, I was doing this with my then-8 1/2 year old daughter and Julie wrote a wonderful blog post after I wrote in with my struggle.

I am using the same techniques she suggested then, now with my son!

DS7 - Bigger
