Question on Independent Boxes REVIVAL to REVOLUTION

Post by John'smom » Thu Mar 03, 2016 12:15 pm

So I have always done Worthy Words with my dc although the box says "I". Now for the other boxes when they are suppose to look at the painting and answer questions to themselves I have left that box totally "I". I just spent a good deal reading through the weekly updates that Julie and others give and it looks like Julie goes over these questions with her ds. What is the best way to do it? I want to do what is best. Thanks for any input.

Any time there are questions in the boxes that they are supposed to answer, but not in writing, I have him tell me the answers. That is mostly to give him some accountability and also to help reinforce the information in his brain. If he says the answers out loud it tends to stick better. I also can then make sure he is understanding what he read. Since I only have 1 I am schooling we tend to do this before he moves on to the next box, but if I had several students then I would do it more like Julie does in a meeting time when we could go over all boxes that had those type of questions.
