Carry On Mr. Bowditch

When we start schooling again in January I'd like to use the book Carry on Mr. Bowditch. If you have any interesting ideas or things to share about that book I'd love to hear your ideas.
Right now I'm pre-reading the book. Maybe my son could make a notebook like Mr. Bowditch did when studying.
