Good to be back! Pray for 'Sandy' victims!

Post by psreit » Thu Nov 01, 2012 4:44 pm

I've been away for three days because of Hurricane Sandy. We were hit hard here in PA. A lot of trees down from the wind. We were without power since Monday, but it came back this afternoon. Pray for those in NJ and NY that have lost homes and still trapped because of high waters. I just saw on the news that a mother was trying to escape flood waters with her 2 and 4 year olds. The children were swept away from her and have perished. Our three days without power is nothing compared to what many others are going through. We're thankful for the Lord's protection.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth. III John 4

We only received high winds and rain in Ontario. I believe we had 2 deaths. The glass in our door was shattered when the wind caught it. It's so very insignificant compared to what others experienced. Praying for all those who have been effected.

I was IN PA at a blogging conference, Got trapped there, but since we have supporters in PA :) I went and stayed with them. The storm passed right over the house I was staying at. PTL the tree did not hit the House, the car or the Rental car! Getting back to Harrisburg was full of detours.

If you want a laugh here is my post on what to do after you get home from being stranded by Hurricane Sandy.
