John Audubon Book up for auction tomorrow

Hi Ladies,

Just a bit of trivia for anyone in Bigger and reading or have read about John Audubon. One of his first bird books is up for auction tomorrow (1/20) and is expected to go for around $10 million. Thought it might be an interesting to watch and see what happens.

The news on tv said that it was one of his first books, but after reading the item on the link, I'm not so sure. I know nothing about art. Still cool, I think.

WOW - what neat trivia! Both of my dc have loved reading about John Audubon. We have bird feeders to attract birds and bird books to identify birds because of reading about John Audubon in HOD. My dc can actually draw decent birds because of him too. I'll have to let them know about this auction tomorrow morning! Too bad I saw it after the auction was done, I had a nest egg just waiting around for something like this... just kidding!
