Do it Carefully

Post by Dorla » Mon Dec 10, 2007 7:59 pm

It is scheduled in LHFHG to skip quite a few of the pages in Do it Carefully. Do we go back and do these at our leisure or what is the reason for this?

Dorla,

I can answer that one! We skip the letter writing pages, because they are already covered by the Handwriting program. We also skip the one book making project in the center of the book due to the extra time and help required by the parent to complete it with little benefit in the skill area to the kiddos. If your little one loves workbooks, you can certainly add those pages back in. For the little ones who are not workbook lovers, and I've had two like this  a page a day is plenty.

The thought with the "Do It Carefully" and "Finding the Answers" workbooks is to cover the skills not already covered anywhere else in a short and sweet fashion.

Blessings,
Carrie
