Question about pace of grammar - R&S 4&5

Post by tbarr12 » Sat Jun 05, 2010 9:31 am

Is there a thread anywhere that explains why Rod and Staff 4 & 5 are done at a half-pace through CTC and RTR? Thanks.

My thinking is that since R&S grammar is advanced and, IMO, rigorous, it is better to go more slowly and allow the student to *know* the material and not just *cover* the material. Doing it several times a week instead of daily also allows time for the writing program to be done twice a week.
