Starting Monday!

Post by Tidbits of Learning » Sat Jan 04, 2014 6:54 pm

With 2 of the kids at least! ;) I am going to go ahead and start with the boys this morning to get in 2 weeks with them before starting back with the girls. I still have to order the girls books but have the boys stuff already. So we will start BLHFHG and PHFHG Monday morning. Hoping this way gives me some time to get a good groove with the boys as well as help my ds doing PHFHG get a feel for the independent boxes.

I don't know if they are excited exactly, but it is time to start. We have been on a 5-6 week break since we left the charter school. I think they will get more excited as we start and they realize school has changed a lot. Hoping their love for learning comes back and school becomes fun again. :)
I am excited. I re-read through the intro to PHFHG and am pretty prepared myself for the first week at least. ;)

Well, the first day was a bit rough. Today is going great though. Once I got over ds11 needing to start 1/2 speed and decided to wait until next week to add in little brother, things just seemed better even if it is all in my head. Which that makes sense b/c my attitude is important too. :) Thanks everyone for all the well wishes.
