Is it okay to modify history subject activities?

Post by hfwalker » Mon Dec 30, 2013 11:04 am

We are on day 5 of Unit 3 and my daughter is having some frustrations with copying the map on pg. 26 of the history book. My husband is home this week and was pretty surprised at all that she was "required" to do. He thinks it is a lot to expect out of her (she turned 8 last week). I don't want to skimp on something that is important. If there are suggestions on how to come at this activity a different way, please share. Even in the midst of challenges, I want learning to be fun and rewarding for her. Thanks!

I believe I did the copying for my daughter. I had her do all the labeling. Hope that helps.
