I guess I posted this on the Main Board, but we are through week 1 of Beyond, and we have loved it!
My favorite memory this week has to be making our shields on Friday afternoon. We read Psalm 18:1-6 through several times and my 6YO did really well with taking ideas from that for her decoration. Then (of course) we had to make cardboard swords to go with the shields. Thankfully it wasn't very strong cardboard so the swords didn't last very long

My children are also getting into the story of Pedro and Catalina and their parents sailing from Spain to America. It's such a neat story with such great pictures!
