It was a challenging week -not because of HOD -that made our week easier but because of a number of disruptions.
Monday it was a national holiday, its been half term break so we have had added distractions,it was Daddy's birthday and we had an appointment with the school's doctor, and we are haveing a crack at potty learning...This weeks big news is that we no longer have to see the schools doctor -She was happy Nathan i s making goood progress and understands that we are going to be homeschooling for the future . :D
so I was tempted to take a break this week but we are so close to finishing that I wanted to press on [and we need to keep a clear routine] but HOD made it so easy to carry on and keep going.

Okay now onto our week with HOD
Here we are learning about giesers
Image
Learning about Douglas Mc Arthur and his code of conduct for his cadets
Image
and again with lego men -learning about multiplication

and learning about salty sea water and also about dissolving things in water

We didn't get much done last week but here are some pictures from our week.
Image
Tracing our letter d. He was supposed to tiptoe around it but crawled around it instead.

Reading his Bible.

Doing his number four page.
Hopefully once I get more settled with the bigger kids and doing their work also, then I can get back on track with Wiggles.

Hi Val- [ insert waving- delighted to have the company smilie ]
I think as its summer everyone is busy -
Wiggleowrm is so cute. Can I ask a LHTH question- does the masking tape letter stay down for all week or just one day?
Have you got your pages for the OOP books- how is that working out?

Ladies,

I loved reading your weekly check-ins! Your pictures of your little honeys were so sweet. :D We happen to be on summer break right now, as are quite a few other HOD moms, so the weekly check-in ebbs and flows in the summer. However, for those of you who are schooling through the "summer months", we love to read about your weeks and enjoy the progress that you're making with your little ones!

Thanks for sharing!

Blessings,
Carrie

Hi,
I have the schedules for the OOP books now, but Wiggles schedule is kind of sporadic with me adjusting to teaching all the kids. I will update when I finally get to see how he likes them.
Our masking tape only stays down the one day. Wiggles likes to take it apart after we do our activity on it. He is in a rather destructive phase.
