I can't figure out how to get it to post here, but you'll have to check out my little girl in Little Hearts dancing to the music on The Singing Bible. She LOVED this week's song about Joseph and the cows!

What fun to read your blogs! :D Thanks for sharing!

Misty,
I wasn't sure about King of the Wind either, since it has such a difficult vocabulary and such hard things happen to Abga and King of the Wind. However, you'll be surprised at how long you remember it once its done, and how it gets your kiddos thinking of how good their own life is compared to Agba's!

Melissa,
We loved "Seven Fat Cows" here too! My boys and I enjoyed singing along. Its a memorable fun song. :D

Joyfulhomeschooler,
I enjoyed your step-by-step bartering pictures for the trading game from Bigger. Your kiddos' expressions were priceless as they considered their options. Your "blankets" turned out great, and your experiment pics with the fishes' air bladder were so fun too. :D

waterandclay,
Your kiddos' wigwams turned out great considering the tough clay! Their drawings, vocabulary, and timeline are looking good too. :D I like the fossil experiment pictures. You can really see the imprints. :D Thanks for sharing a glimpse into your week. :)

Blessings,
Carrie

Carrie, I guess I hadn't thought of it that way. My reasons for not liking it wasn't necessarily the content but the fact that it is so slow! It seems like one bad thing after another keeps happening to Agba there is no happy ending in sight.. But, this week we had to pack up and do school at my moms one day and she was so excited when she saw we were reading King of the Wind. Said she loved the book it was one of her favorites and happily read 2 chapters to my girls while I played with the baby.

I was accused of being easily distracted in the past, so my husband is helping me (and my girls) stay focused this week.
I was restricted to helping with the creative projects only.
Here are pictures of the outcome.
