How long should my kids spend reading?
We have just started DITHOR & are coming from a curriculum that did not have assigned reading (or at least nothing that got my kids into an age-appropriate book, all the way through). My dc (age 10 - 5th, 8yo - 3rd, & 4yo - PK) love to read, in fact, my oldest now has 2 series she wants to read more in since beginning DITHOR 6 weeks ago for a summer reading program. (yay!) My question is, how long should kids be spending reading their assigned reading? As I plan our upcoming school-year, I want to be sure to allow enough time for this fantastic program.

According to Julie and Carrie, DITHOR should take 20-40 minutes a day. I think it depends on what student workbook you are doing, as the higher levels of course take a little longer.
