Oral Narration "timing"
For those of you who are like me and teaching more than one student I have a question about oral narrations. Do you have your students come to you immediately after finishing their reading to do their narration or do you "schedule" a time during the day for them to come? I was just letting them come...

I have 3 boys ages 14, 11 & 7. We began homeschooling over 8 years ago using MFW. We switched to HOD 4 years ago and loooovvvvveee it. We did enjoly the first few years of MFW but it began to require me to add more and more to it to make it a good fit for my boys. As we approached the older MFW leve...

Re: Do you go to a co op?
We have found a coop that fits all of us and brings many benefits and blessings right now that we simply couldn't fill anywhere else. So it is currently worth any "at home" sacrifice we might need to make. On the other hand ... before this we had done many things and finally gave up on everything we...

Re: Hitting guides too soon?
Has anyone used this final year as such yet? I am wondering about how to fill out their transcript if I chose to go this route for 12th grade. I know they would have what they needed but just wondering if anyone has done it yet and how they went about that part.

Re: Guide for 9th Grade
I did want to say thanks Julie for the year and a half on a guide idea for my middle son. This really sounds like a likable/doable idea that would suit him well and put us right where we need to be after 3 years. I would not have thought of that on my own !
