I'm not for sure what to tell you about the spelling. I would consider using the dictation and even though it might seem a bit easy. You might want to start somewhere in the middle if it seems way too easy. I know it looks easy and I wonder how my dc will feel about it, but I figure since dictation...

My DD is loving BHFHG.

She is asking for MORE! I was not expecting this. I know there is an extention of books. Is it just more reading?

What about something like the If and Then Chart, this way the consequences will be clearly started for them and for you and it will require you to expend a lot less energy thinking of what the consequences should be.
