Today Audrey drew some pictures of things you find living on the shore and things living in the tide. She copied them from the book, but maybe you could have Dragonfly draw them from real life examples. Have fun at the beach!!

Evergreen Mama-I will be teaching a 7 y/o and a 5 y/o and have wondered the same thing. My dc do not have a lot they can do independently yet. Thanks for starting this thread.

We will be using Bigger w/ my dd for 2nd grade and Little Hearts for K w/ my ds. We are going to start on August 10th.

For some reason I have an aversion to writing in my manuals. I just can't bring myself to do it. I use little sticky notes to mark our spot and to easily find what I need in the appendix.

We did Beyond last year and loved it. I'm so glad it is working so well for you and your family.

I love HOD because each day is scheduled for me and my kids love all of the hands on activities. I am not a creative or crafty person by nature, so all of the craft and project ideas Carrie provides are extremely helpful to me. My kids learn so much using HOD and it does not take us all day long to ...

I love it!! You gals really need to come to SoCal for the CHEA convention in July. Maybe next year?!

It looks wonderful. We won't be using it for a few years, but I am looking forward to it.

We just finished the Millers and my dd and I both enjoyed it. She is 6 and it held her attention very well. She loved hearing about the missionaries and how God worked in their lives. HTH!

I am using 1A & 1B with my dd this year and she is doing very well. Math normally takes us 15 to 20 minutes to complete. I don't think she is brilliant in math, but she doesn't struggle with it.
