We are just finishing week 6 of LHFHG. My 5 y/o dd has done very well in the review section of the memory verses. She remembers all of them so far. I think listening to the Hide Em in your Heart CD in the car has helped.

I think you could use LHFHG for 1st grade w/ your dd and maybe your younger child could tag along for read-alouds. I am doing it w/ my dd 5 for K and my 3 y/o listens in every now and then. HTH!

Welcome to the boards! I am using LHFHG with my dd (5) and she is loving it. We made our playdough golden calf last week as well. I let me 3 y/o son make one too.
