Would it be good to do LHTH at half speed?
Hi! I'm using HOD for the first time this year, and we're all really loving it! :D My 9 and 6 year olds are doing Beyond (with appropriate Math and L.A. for my 9 y.o.) and I'm doing Little Hands with my daughter who just turned 4. We've finished the 3rd Unit, and we're really enjoying it, but I'm fi...

Re: Is the book "The Twenty One Balloons" an adventure?
Yes. It even lists that book as an option in the back of the Beyond guide. :) We are in the same place and we chose Sword in the Tree...but 21 Balloons is one my older son will read later, so we dedcided to wait on that one. Thanks! I forgot that there are suggestions in the back of the guide. :lol...

Is the book "The Twenty One Balloons" an adventure?
We're doing BLHFHG with my 6 and 9 year olds, and I'm trying to choose our adventure book for storytime. I saw this book described as an adventure and a fantasy, so would it be okay to use it for the adventure section?
Thank you!
Thank you!

I'm enjoying this and a suggestion . . .
I'm just starting my second week of Beyond and Little Hands, and I"m LOVING it. :D (This is my first year with HOD!) Anyway, I have one suggestion. For Little Hands, I would find the program a little easier to use if the pages that need to be copied (Hide and Seek, Number Pages, etc.) could optional...

Re: Beyond Little Hearts for my 9 year old? Is this doable?
For extra Science what about Christian Liberty Nature Readers ? Carrie has the first one scheduled in the Emerging Readers set, but you could get the next ones in the series. Just an idea. :) Thanks for the idea! I actually recently purchased two of those, so that might be a good way to round out S...

Re: Beyond Little Hearts for my 9 year old? Is this doable?
Thanks so much for your answer, Brambie! It's good to know someone else is using Beyond for a 9 year old. :D I looked at the post you linked to, and here's some more info about my 9 year old: He can easily read books like Amelia Bedelia and Frog and Toad. The more challenging books he's read on is o...

Beyond Little Hearts for my 9 year old? Is this doable?
Hello! I'm new here and thinking of using Beyond for my son who just turned 9 on Saturday, and my daughter who is 6. My son had some visual processing issues which are pretty much resolved now, but he's really working at a 2nd grade level for Math and Language Arts. (He's just starting to read easy ...
