Re: MTMM
HI Pam! So, are you doing any beefing up for high school credit or is your daughter in the guide range? I am looking forward to starting next year. As for my son, yes. He is going to ps after next year...if the one we are looking at doesn't close. He would have the opportunity to graduate high schoo...

MTMM
Just placed my order!! YIPPEE!!! Am excitedly awaiting MTMM and prickly with excitement (and anxiety  ) to be starting son's first high school year in the fall. Also sad, as it will be his last year at home. God is so good - He gave my oldest ds a scholarship for books again this year. :...

Re: Preparing narration - would appreciate opinions& suggest
I would have been doing a VERY happy dance if my ds had been doing written narrations like that when he was 9!! It looks great.

Re: Loving LHFHG but questions
I, don't know the right answer to your questions, but just wanted to chime in because we are loving LHFHG, also! For math, we do all of the activities that are scheduled and then I (not currently using Singapore because I already had something) find the pages in the math book that link to what HOD i...

Re: Storytime in RTR and up-ok to still read aloud?
We are doing Rev to Rev and I do read the storytime books aloud to my 13 yo ds. His time with me grows short and I am so thankful for the discussions we share over the books - and they are all GREAT books. He gets plenty of reading on his own through the history, extensions & DITHOR. I could not ima...

Re: MTMM ordering confusion
Carrie & Rebecca, Thank you for answering. I thought that was what I needed, but just wanted to make sure before I figure out my final order. Yes, Rebecca, I know that the student is supposed to move towards independence in the Storytime box, but we have opted not to do this completely. We read the ...

MTMM ordering confusion
So, if I want to use MTMM for a 9th grader, I do NOT order the basic package? Instead I order the EXTENSIONS? And then, I will not complete the Storytime box with him ? Help? Anyone?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Rod and Staff 7 and 8??
Heather,
From what I have read, I believe you are correct. We are currently completing R&S 7 over two years and then will complete R&S 8 in the following year. From what I've seen, it is more than sufficient to have a thorough understanding of English grammar. HTH!

Re: To use or not to use, that is the question.
We did use the Shakespeare study. I wanted my son to be exposed to Shakespeare before he reads plays. I can't exactly remember what the notebooking pages entailed, but I do remember that their were scenes to color. My ds HATED coloring them, but he liked to look at the pictures. I think he also copi...
