Re: LHTH repeat?
Thanks, girls! Here's what I decided to do: SA will be 3 in July, so we'll be starting LHTH near August (after all trips are over and DOH! right when the 'maters are ready to can!) using the 2-3 year materials, but it will be super loose. Bible, hand rhymes, whatever. Mostly, it will be to begin tra...

Re: Does anyone use an outside planner with HOD?
What a great question, krazzymama! I, like you, am using multiple HOD books with math being the one exception, as we have MUS and DH has said to finish out what we have before we do something else. (ok, and reading for my little guy, we have Delightful Reading and an Abeka book...the money done runn...

Re: More Q's on finaggling 3 (maybe 4!) books
Kathleen and Shannon, thank you! I'm glad I'm not just being crazy about this. I *do* understand that any plan or list I make will change, but for me, I need SOMETHING to go from. So thank you for not laughing at all my questions! Shannon, your last comment made me chuckle -- I used every parent tri...

Re: Noah's Ark, Noah's Flood
THanks, Miranda - I'm not losing my marbles! It seems easy to just do without, then, or did you use something in place of NA,NF with the drawing book?

Re: More Q's on finaggling 3 (maybe 4!) books
I think that moving HR downstairs is wise. It will be a matter of training him to stay still and quiet during that time. Have you used "tot boxes" for your youngers? I can't live the "fly by the seat of your pants" lifestyle anymore, and need to come up with a very specific base plan for SA-2yo (wil...

Re: Noah's Ark, Noah's Flood
My teacher's manual uses both the drawing book AND NA,NF. We don't have NA,NF but can I just not use it, and use the drawing book?

More Q's on finaggling 3 (maybe 4!) books
I have another question or 3. Maybe more. It seems like small stuff, but in figuring out how to swing this (and knowing MG-11yo's penchant for routine) I would like to know your thoughts on: --how to order Preparing boxes for MG, both during the "training" period and in "real-life". Should I be aimi...
