Re: ACE Biology

Thank you for your help. I found the post on what to buy... Paces, Answer Key, DVD's & Lab DVD's. and I also found a cheaper place to buy it all. Christian Book Distributors. ACE wanted to charge a ton for taxes and shipping. Thanks!

Re: Please help me place my 15 year old!!!!

My daughter just turned 15 May 31st. She has been using HOD since CTC and will be using the newest guide, Missions to Modern Marvels this year. It has been perfect for her. If you need to beef it up, there is plenty of advice here on how to do that.

Re: THANK YOU to the notebooking designer!!

My daughter used to write all her assignments in pencil lightly and then go back over them with a thin sharpie marker. After that, she would erase the lines. The sharpies do not smear.

Re: MTMM question with high school level on packages

The she is suggesting the if your child is an avid reader, to go ahead and add the basic book pack? Where my confusion lies is that I always thought t...

Re: Skip counting - What to do!

Well here is something free for you. I made skip counting videos for my kids this year and plan to make more in the future. We spent a few minutes each morning having a morning meeting which included bible study and memory work. I would sing these each day with the kids. http://www.youtube.com/user/...

Sharing our "creative" poetry from Preparing

In Prepaing, it says to do share the poetry creatively each week. Here is our creative video of the poem "The Swing" by Robert Louis Steveson.

Re: Sneak Peeks: New Guide Missions to Modern Marvels

Hi Carrie, My daughter is going to be in high school next year and I am in the midst of figuring this all out as well. We use TOG with my oldest daughter who is going into 12th grade next year and something I find extremely helpful that Tapestry has made is a CREDITS chart for each of their guides. ...

Thank You Carrie...

Carrie, I just wanted to share my journey with HOD with you. Several years ago I started using HOD CTC with my two oldest daughters. My two younger daughters were placed in HOD Bigger. The content of CTC was perfect for my oldest daughter although my second daughter was struggling a bit. She was a v...
