Re: Long Days and Son Hates School
I'm new to HOD, so I don't even know if I should be giving any advice :) I started Bigger and Preparing a few weeks ago. I purposely placed my daughter in Preparing instead of CTC (even though she could've placed there), because I knew she would be able to do most of it independently. This makes a h...

Singapore Standards/ U.S. Edition
Hi,
I own all of the levels of the Singapore Standards Edition math books. I see that the US edition is scheduled in all the guides. Is this going to be a problem for me? Is there that much of a difference?
Thanks,
Renee

Re: Science question…...
stephanieU,
That's what I don't know. I mean wouldn't it look weird to have another 1/2 credit each of physical science and chemistry? And would the science in Rev. to Rev and MtMM be worthy of a whole credit? What would you suggest?

Science question…...
Hi, I apologize if this has already been answered somewhere. My 9th grader will be doing Rev to Rev. and I don't know what to do about her science. She is in Module 11 of the Apologia Physical Science (with no labs) book this year (8th grade). I was going to use that for a high school credit. I see ...

Timeline Question
Hi,
I was trying to do a day of Rev2Rev, just to get an idea of how long it should take. When I read the timeline box, there were people mentioned that I didn't remember reading about. Am I missing something, or is the student supposed to do their own research on them?

Re: Reason #1 to use HOD - The Self-Propelled Advantage!
Absolutely! I have been using HOD for a while now and hit all of the guides but the first. It absolutely leads them to be self driven and it is amazing where those path leads, places I never would have even thought to go. 8) But even beyond this. We never know what life will bring. I would have to ...
