4 year old in Little Hearts?

We are currently doing Bigger with my two older boys, eager to move onto Preparing and have worked through most of Little Hands with my soon to be 4 year old girl. Would it be too much to start her slowly(taking 2 years to finish) Little Hearts? If not do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!! Chr...

Re: Need a little encouragement

I hope that's true too but the package I recieved was a huge box stuffed with bags to take up space. I just filed a dispute with paypal so hopefully it all gets resolved.

Need a little encouragement

I just purchased Preparing Hearts used on a message board and the lady only sent me 11 of the books and I paid over $2oo for everything I needed. She advertised it complete and emailed me back and forth with what I already had and was very willing to break it down for me. I am just so disheartened. ...

Re: Would the program work without the Bible?

We do a separate Bible program as a family too but find it very easy to implement HOD Bible too. There are some real nuggets in there I didn't want to miss :D

Re: Hi, new here and ???

I am using Bigger with an almost 11 year old and it is going great. We are really enjoying it!! He does his own math, grammar, dictation. He actually enjoys the science in Bigger immensely - it is his favorite subject. I started out doing the extension pack with him but now do them as read alouds an...

Question on Preparing?

I am currently using Bigger Hearts and really like it, but am looking toward next year and using Preparing. Do I need to get the self study packages too? I'm not worried about the money portion but my boys love to take off and do their own researching and studying in what they are interested in and ...

Question on spelling for 10 year old?

We just started BHFHG 2 weeks ago and totally love it, in fact it feels so amazingly written just for me. I am combining two boys, ages 8 and 10, and the spelling lists or dictation passages are good for my 8 year old but my 10 year old needs more. We have never done any formal stuff except for copy...

I'm here and excited to embark on this journey!!

I have been looking and talking about HOD for a year and a half now and after a tough year trying something else I have sold it off and am buying Bigger Hearts. My boys are 8 and 10 and it looks just perfect with the extension pack. I have been using LHTH and my 3 year old loves that so now we are g...

Ok after the placement chart I am thinking Bigger for both-my concern is this -that my soon to be fourth grader would miss out on the 5 year cycle by the time he gets to high school. I know that is a long way off but help me ease this planning craziness in my mind. Regarding math I am not sure what ...

My middle child was smack in the middle of phonics last summer and wanted so badly to read so I opted to continue with a little more relaxed schedule. I also didn't want him to backtrack or lose ground.

Question on next year?

Hello, I am looking into using HOD for next year. I have a 9,7 and 2 year old and one more on the way in September. I am using LHTH with my 2 year old and we love it. This year I almost did BHFHG but changed my mind last minute to Adventures. While I did enjoy parts of this curriculum parts of it we...
