Re: BLHFHG Bibliography Reading

Yes, the I think Bolt and Tigger will enjoy it. LOL! The tank is in our classroom, on the desk right where we work. I can already see my son showing the pictures of the book to them.

Thanks for replying! Have a wonderful day!

BLHFHG Bibliography Reading

We purchased the "classical" book set for this year, and up until we got to "The Railway Children", my son has enjoyed every one. As we started reading "The Railway Children", we ran into a "snag", as the slang used in this book totally lost my 6yr old. Per discussions on this board, others recommen...

Re: King of the Wind - Adventure or Historical Fictioon

I loved this book and so did my son. Not sure I know the answer to your question, but I can see where it is an Adventure. It doesn't read like a typical "Historical Fiction" for one thing, at least not to me. :) My son and I were glued to this book as we read each new adventure the boy Agba and his ...

Re: Beyond Storytime - Mystery

Hi, I posted yesterday on here, my same problem you all are having with Railway Children. I picked the Classic books because I will need to use these with both of my kids, boy and girl. I thought the selection would fit both. So far, the books we've read up to now have been great and my son and I ha...

Re: Week in Review~1-15-09

Hi everyone! It's been a long time since I've been on here to read and post. Things are moving along so well. My son is in 1st grade, working from the BLHFHG and loving every bit of it. My daughter, 3yr old, enjoys doing the art and stories with him from his work. I was doing the LHTH with her the f...

Re: Week in Review 8.15.08

Hi everyone, We just finished our first week in BLHFHG. Since we used LHFHG last year, we were able to slip into a simular routine with BLHFHG with no problems. Yay! My DS started 1st grade this year and he is enjoying it. He loves the "spelling" words and writing them in his own notebook. The Emer...
