My son (younger by a year) just began it. He has some mild learning issues and has had to have a lot of support in CTC. I don't ...

Am I Stupid?

Re: Grading a younger guide for a high schooler
I made a rubric for each box assigning points to different aspects of the box until it totaled 100 points. Then I grade on the Rubric.

If a child has finished level 7/8, what do you do for their "alone" reading time, if anything?

Older Child Feeling "slighted" in Combining
I combine my 8 and 10 year olds. My 10 year old cannot grasp why her younger brother is in the same curriculum as her when she is "so much older" than him. I have tried to explain to her the differences in homeschooling and PS and that the Guides cover a RANGE of ages. But the truth is that ...

Shakespeare in Res 2 Rev
My daughter and I find it hard to remember the 1st Shakespeare reading when the second half of the story is a week later. I find myself looking at a synopsis online to remind myself of the story. I kind of wish the readings were back to back. Does anyone else struggle with this?
