 Bigger Hearts-home  Bigger Hearts-packagesBigger Hearts for His Glory - MathCustomize your child's Math program!Choose either Singapore Primary Mathematics 2A & 2B or Singapore Primary Mathematics 3A & 3B. Daily math assignments are scheduled in the "Learning the Basics" part of the Bigger Hearts for His Glory plans. Two or three lessons each week use concrete objects and hands-on experiences to introduce and reinforce mathematical concepts. The workbooks Singapore Primary Mathematics 2A & 2B provide a text connection for each math lesson. An alternate schedule is provided in the Appendix for 3A & 3B.

The
Primary Mathematics U.S. Edition series of elementary math textbooks and
workbooks is meant to be part of a system of learning in which adult
supervision and independent practice go hand in hand. The main feature
of this series is the use of the Concrete> Pictorial>Abstract approach. The students are provided with the
necessary learning experiences beginning with the concrete and pictorial
stages, followed by the abstract stage to enable them to learn
mathematics meaningfully. This approach encourages active thinking
process, communication of mathematical ideas and problem solving. This
helps develop the foundation students will need for more advanced
mathematics.
Due to the daily math lessons included
in Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory, you do not need to
purchase Primary Mathematics 2A Textbook or Primary
Mathematics 2B Textbook.
Note:
If you have already covered the concepts in Singapore Primary
Mathematics 2A & 2B, you will follow the alternate math
schedule in the Appendix of Bigger Hearts for His Glory. This
math schedule uses Singapore Primary Mathematics Textbook 3A,
Workbook
3A, Textbook 3B, and Workbook 3B. Both sets A &
B are needed for a full year of math instruction.
